You are.

I've never imagined how breathtaking 

it would be to see you for the first time.  

To hear you... you can't speak yet, but I heard your heartbeat. 

 I heard your life.  

I love you so much already, though we haven't met.  

And when my eyes first saw you, just a picture of you, I smiled, for now 

I have truly seen 

Heaven, 

I have truly seen 

My God, 

 Jesus, 

in your being.

You are.

From Him.

You are.

To us.

You are ours.

You are a gift.

And though waiting for you will grow harder and harder everyday,

b/c daddy's a little impatient,

i will wait.

with joy and great love i will wait.

Until the day we meet face to face, and I can touch you & hold you.

You are.

You already fill my day with so much life and purpose.

You are her...

a piece of your mom, my wife, the love of my life.

that alone assures me that you are one fascinating human being even now.

she is my everything on earth, and you will be my everything too.

You are me...

a piece of me is in you, is woven into the fabric of your very core.  

you heart is from my heart, your laugh and smile and quirks too.

i am overwhelmed...

how you, so small, so new, so pure, can completely wipe away all my 

worries, fears, and cares, 

for you, are a reflection of God's life & love for me.

You are us.

I dream already of the days you run around my feet reminding me

of your mom, and me, and all the others members of your great family before us,

who have all had part in making you who you are, who you will be.

You are.

I love you.

You are my child.
