time away... the good kind this time

hey guys.

for those who don't know. last week was completely random and crazy. Beth had a kidney infection for which she was admitted to the hospital thursday night. we spent thursday and friday night there, and went home Saturday. Everything is fine, she just needed some IV antibiotics to kick it out, and out they did! So, Charli Beth and Mommy are A-Ok!

That was a less fun little break from life, but for more EXCITING vacations.... We are actually in Newport Coast, CA visiting some awesome familiy friends!

We will hopefully have some pics to put up soon! Bethy's lil baby bump is growing growing!

G is for GIRL!

That's right! It's a girl.  Preparations are UNDER Way and the nursery has now begun to be fully glamour-fied for the Princess's arrival in October.  We are super excited and can not wait for her to get here!  God is so good, our anatomy ultrasound was 100%, so our little angel has a clean bill of health, that's what matter most!

Alright, 

so, this morning is our second ultrasound, in 30 minutes! woohoo! mommy's heading home from getting her hair done for a wedding we have in North Carolina this weekend!  So, we are going to Dr. Duke, and i am for sure believing that our little one will allow us to see what "brand" we're having!

The Wait is O.V.E.R.

Hello All,

I am thrilled to finally make this post.

Next Thursday will not be your normal Thursday.  Because, come 10 o'clock a.m., Bethany and I will be getting our 2nd ultrasound to find out the sex of the BABY! We will know next week! YEAY! Then we can know if we're baby talking to him or her  through the belly button channel! hahaha! So, be praying McBuddy (as we have deemed it) is very very co-operative and in perfect posture so we can see what we need to see!!!

I am beyond excited if you can't tell, so stay tuned to find out the "rest of the story" next week!  Until then, post a comment and tell us what you think we're having! Boy or Girl?

Patience is a Virtue...

I have recently discovered truly how impatient I am.  Worse than waiting for Christmas presents, or even waiting for fast food at the window, I CAN NOT WAIT FOR THIS BABY TO GET HERE!

I guarantee every child i've seen the past six weeks probably thinks I'm a freak! I look at every kid i see and think, only a matter of months, and i'll be looking at my very own child, face2face.  What an amazing Gift! Our next appointment is in a week or so, the 23rd!  Just a regular checkup!  

Also, wanted you all to know that Momma is feeling WAAAAAYYY better, as the Morning Sickness had way overstayed it's welcome, so we kindly/gladly escorted it out of the picture! haha. but, she really is feeling better, thanks for your prayers!!

Hey guys,

it's 6:55 a.m..... why am i awake... OH YEAH, we gotta hit the road and get to the first ultrasound!  We'll find out all the details of how far along we are and hopefully get a glimpse of baby (peanut)!
